  • Jab (no tilt, light attack)

Utilities

  • Block (hold block, no tilt)

  • Throw (light attack with tile/kunai/Punk ball in hand)
  • Catch (pressing light right before a thrown projectile hits you)
  • Air Dodge (pressing dodge in the air, direction can be changed by tilting)

Techniques

Techniques that can be used in-game.

Global Tech

  • Parrying. Block right before an attack hits you, which stuns your opponent long enough to punish.
  • Tech/Teching: While in hitstun, press block as you hit a platform to cancel the hitstun.
  • Wavedash: Air dodging diagonally down or straight down immediately after inputting a jump. Moves you a large amount in a short time.
  • Directional Influence/DI: Moving your character during aerial hitstun.
  • Crouch Jumping: Holding down right before jumping, makes you jump slightly higher.
  • Tile Hopping: Throwing a tile straight down, gives you a small hop that doesnt waste a jump.
  • Airteching: Pressing dodge mid air to tech out of air combos.
